Girls 9-12
Our term programmes are designed to support girls through one of the biggest periods of change in their brain and body development.
Across our interactive sessions, girls explore important topics including brain development, puberty and periods, friendships, self-belief and belonging.
Each programme creates a fun, supportive environment where girls can learn, ask questions and connect with others who may be navigating similar experiences. Alongside practical education and tools, girls have the opportunity to build confidence, develop meaningful friendships outside of school and strengthen their sense of connection and belonging.

What we cover
The pre-teen and teen years bring huge changes — physically, emotionally and socially. Brave Minds supports girls where they are now and prepares them for what’s ahead, in a way that feels empowering, relatable and relevant to real life.
At the foundation of every session is the intention to help girls build positive brain pathways, strengthen self-belief, and develop a healthy, compassionate relationship with themselves.
Throughout the program, we explore what’s happening in their developing brains and bodies, we explore real-life topics including online pressure and comparison, social media, period power and cycle awareness, and the physical and emotional changes that come with growing up — helping girls feel informed, prepared and more confident in their changing bodies.
The real power at Pretty Bold isn’t just in what the girls learn — it’s in learning alongside each other and the environment we have created.
These groups create a space built on belonging, trust and connection, where girls often realise, “Wait… I’m not the only one who thinks or wonders about that?”
It’s a place where they can ask questions, share experiences, build confidence and grow together.
And that’s where the real magic happens.
A note from the founder
It’s often hard to put into words the true impact of this program, because so much of it is something you feel and witness in the girls themselves.
We have girls attend for a range of reasons, self-doubt, social anxiety, or past experiences they’re working through. But more often than not, it’s girls who are simply navigating the normal (and sometimes overwhelming) changes that come with growing up, changes in their brains and bodies, friendships, social media, and school.
I would say the biggest thing I see these girls walk away with from attending the program is a deeper understanding of themselves, and real sense of belonging and stronger self-belief.
Our programs are designed to support young girls through one of the most important seasons of their lives.
Our after-school mentorship sessions give your daughter the tools, confidence, and connection she needs to thrive emotionally, socially, and personally.
This isn’t just any programme , it’s a powerful foundation for lifelong emotional well-being, self-belief, and meaningful connection.
