Pretty Bold – Parent & Caregiver Terms, Confidentiality & Release of Liability
Updated: July 2026
Thank you for enrolling your child in a Pretty Bold programme, workshop, or retreat.
Before participating, we ask that all parents, caregivers, or legal guardians read and agree to the following terms and conditions.
About Pretty Bold
Pretty Bold is an educational programme designed to empower girls through confidence-building, emotional literacy, self-belief, and meaningful connection.
Our programmes provide a supportive environment where girls can learn practical life skills, build healthy relationships, and develop a greater understanding of themselves during key stages of development.
While our programmes may include conversations around emotions, friendships, identity, puberty, confidence, and wellbeing, Pretty Bold is not a counselling, therapy, psychology, or medical service. We do not provide diagnosis, treatment, or clinical mental health support.
Creating a Safe Space
A key part of the Pretty Bold experience is creating an environment where girls feel safe to participate, share their thoughts, and learn alongside one another.
To help maintain this environment, we ask that all participants respect the privacy of other girls attending the programme. While we encourage girls to talk with their parents or caregivers about what they have learned and how they are feeling, we ask that personal stories or experiences shared by other participants remain confidential.
We also encourage parents and caregivers to respect the privacy of other families should their child discuss something that was shared during a session.
Duty of Care
The wellbeing of every participant is our highest priority.
While we respect participant confidentiality, Pretty Bold facilitators have a duty of care. If a facilitator believes a participant may be at risk of harm or requires additional support, we may contact a parent, caregiver, or appropriate professional service to ensure the participant's safety and wellbeing.
Cancellation Policy
Programme fees are non-refundable if you choose to withdraw after enrolment.
Pretty Bold reserves the right to postpone or cancel a programme if necessary. If a programme is cancelled by Pretty Bold, a full refund will be provided.
Intellectual Property
All Pretty Bold programme content, facilitator resources, activities, worksheets, presentations, and materials remain the intellectual property of Pretty Bold.
These resources may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, shared, or used for commercial purposes without prior written permission from Pretty Bold.
Privacy
We collect personal information including names, contact details, emergency contact information, and any relevant information required for programme participation.
This information is collected solely for the purpose of administering our programmes, communicating with families, and ensuring participant safety. Your information will not be shared with third parties unless required by law or where there is a concern for the safety or wellbeing of a participant.
You may request access to or correction of your personal information at any time by contacting:
Photography & Media Consent
Photographs and videos may be taken during Pretty Bold programmes, workshops, and retreats for use in promotional material, social media, and our website.
If you do not wish for your child to appear in photographs or videos, please notify Pretty Bold in writing prior to the commencement of the programme. We will ensure every reasonable effort is made to respect your preference.
Health & Safety
Pretty Bold is committed to providing a safe and supportive environment for all participants.
Parents and caregivers are responsible for informing Pretty Bold of any medical conditions, allergies, behavioural considerations, or additional support needs that may affect their child's participation.
In the event of an emergency, facilitators will take appropriate action to ensure the safety of all participants, including contacting emergency services or the participant's emergency contact where necessary.
Acceptance of Terms
By enrolling your child in a Pretty Bold programme, workshop, or retreat, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions, including our confidentiality, privacy, cancellation, and safety policies.
